Keller Williams Sacramento Celebrates Expansion to The Ice Blocks

Realty office Grand Opening in Midtown to highlight living and thriving in Sacramento with Metro Chamber ribbon-cutting and local vendors.

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA June 27, 2019 — Keller Williams (KW), the nation’s largest real estate franchise by agent count, volume and transactions, is expanding to a new neighborhood of Sacramento.

Led by Operating Partner Maureen Barker, the new office is at the Ice Blocks, a live-work-play space along the R Street Corridor on 16th Street. This brings the five-year-old KW Sacramento franchise to three locations with other offices in Sierra Oaks and East Sacramento.

“Sacramento real estate is very neighborhood-driven,” said Barker. “When families buy or sell a home and businesses need space, they require hyperlocal experts who know the market. Our new, cutting-edge office in Midtown empowers our residential and commercial agents to be even more successful for our clients.”

Maureen has been in Sacramento-area real estate since 1994. She is currently leading the Keller Williams office in Roseville and spearheading the office in Sacramento.

KW Sacramento’s 150 agents and colleagues will be celebrating the grand opening of their third office with a Metro Chamber ribbon-cutting on Thursday, June 27th.

“Community is important to us,” Barker says, “which is why we invited in local businesses to celebrate living and thriving in Sacramento.” Mendocino Farms, Revolution Wine + Kitchen, Milk Money, Zocalo and Device Brewery are some of the local businesses who will be featured at the event.

Michelle Salapor of Mendocino Farms said, “We love finding ways to partner with other companies, like Keller Williams, who are invested in the Sacramento community.”

The food and drinks will be set up throughout the space which was designed by RMW Architecture & Interiors (RMW).

“The design of Keller Williams at Ice Blocks was intended to emphasize connection,” said Amber Kelly, Senior Interior Designer from RMW. “Various collaboration spaces, full views onto the R street corridor, and a focus on visual transparency help open the space to the city and invite the action and stimulation of an atmosphere perpetually in motion.” Kelly will be joined by Mark Alvarez, Principal of RMW and Project Manager of the Ice Blocks project, at the grand opening event.

“We are so excited to celebrate our new location,” said Barker. “The space puts our agent-centric, technology-driven and education-based culture front and center. Our agents are all about finding the perfect location for families and businesses to thrive. Our KW Sacramento family will thrive here.”
